In a never ending effort to keep our residents informed, Maine Township through their Office of Emergency Management is implementing a new communication service that is free to all residents of the Township.

The name of the program is NIXLE. Through the Nixle program, the Township can alert residents to pending disasters such as flooding when known or details on what our response is, where sand bags or supplies will be located at or what to do for recovery following a disaster. This information can be delivered without charge to your e-mail address, cell phone or via web access.
All you need to do is go to the NIXLE web-site and signup for this totally free service. The program will be utilized by the township for periodic testing and emergency information only. To register, click on the link below for access to the registration process.
